Final League Table With a 4-3 win and 7 points against the Legionnaire 'A', the Cricketers Lodge 'B' take the Division One title for the seventh time in eight years. Congratulations to this very tough team. The Legionnaire 'A' are Runners-Up for the second year and third time in four years. Both teams are now playing for the Charles Muller Memorial Shield, along with the Winners and Runners-Up from the Second and Third Divisions. Gareth Aries from the Cricketers Lodge 'B' team is the Division One Player of the Year with 14 wins from his 16 games, and will play-off with the Division Two and Three winners for the Overall Player of the Year on Wednesday 22nd September at the Market Tavern. Gareth also claims the Division One Captains Cup with 13 wins from his 16 games, and will play-off with the Division Two and Three winners for the Overall Captains Cup on Sunday 26th September at the Charlton Hotel. The Watermans Arms finish in 9th place and will now do battle for the Graham Price Memorial Shield at The Hope Inn on Wednesday 29th September alongside the Bush Tavern and the Hope Mavericks. |
